NokémonDesign and generate any creature you can imagine, then evolve, retype and reshape it however you want.
Reveal creatures free every day. Keep the ones you like and build a collection. No sign-up to start.

Describe any creature in your own words and watch it come to life, unique to you. Then evolve it, retype it, or refine the details.

Every Lab creature is a starting point. Shape it three ways.
Add wings, armor, horns, glowing eyes. Small changes that keep the same creature, just closer to what you pictured.

Take your creature through its evolution line, one stage at a time. It grows up and gains detail while keeping its character.

Keep the creature you love and give it a new element. Make a version for any type you choose.

Every creature you keep gets a number in your field guide. Share it with a link, anyone can browse.
Credits create in the Lab. Plans bring more to find every day. Use either, or both.
One-time top-ups that never expire.
More daily generations, more storage, and monthly credits on every paid plan.
Cancel anytime. Annual billing saves 20%.
Nokémon is a free Fakémon generator and creature maker that runs in your browser. It works in two ways. Daily Discovery gives every visitor ten free generations a day, with no account and no card, so you can browse the creature cards by type and reveal the ones you like. The Creature Lab is where you describe a creature in your own words and bring it to life, then evolve it through a three-stage line, retype it to a different element, or change a single detail like wings, horns, or armor. Every creature you keep gets an entry in your Field Guide with a species name, one or two types, a habitat, a temperament, a height and weight, and a short written field note. A Field Guide can be shared as a link that anyone can open without signing up. Nokémon is an independent project and is not an official Pokémon product.
A Fakémon is a fan-made creature designed to look like it belongs in the world of Pokémon without being an official one. The word is a blend of "fake" and "Pokémon." Fans have made them for years, usually by drawing a creature, giving it a name, assigning it one or two of the eighteen elemental types, and writing a short entry describing where it lives and how it behaves. Most follow the same conventions: a clear silhouette, a color palette that matches the type, a name that hints at what it is, and often an evolution line that runs from a small first form to a larger final one. Nokémon is an independent tool for making creatures in that tradition. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc. or The Pokémon Company.
Nokémon is free to start and free to use every day. Daily Discovery costs nothing and needs no account, and the free tier gives you ten generations that reset every 24 hours. You only pay for the Creature Lab, which runs on credits. Create, Evolve, and single-type Retype each cost one credit and give you four versions to choose from. Modify changes one detail at a time and returns a single version for one credit. Multi-type actions cost more, and the total is always shown before you submit. Credit packs are one-time purchases: $5 for 20 credits, $10 for 50, and $20 for 120, and pack credits never expire. Plans start at $5 a month for 30 daily generations, 20 monthly credits, and 100 storage slots, with $10 and $20 tiers above that, and annual billing saves 20%. Plan credits refresh each billing period and do not roll over.
No. You can browse Daily Discovery and start revealing creatures straight away, with no account and no card. An account does two things. It lets you keep the creatures you reveal, so the ones you like get a number in your Field Guide, and it opens the Creature Lab, where you describe your own creature and bring it to life. Signing in goes through Google, so there is no password to set and nothing to confirm by email. The free tier stays free after you sign in: ten generations a day, no charge. If you want more later, plans start at $5 a month, and you can change or stop a plan from the shop page at any time.
Open a compatible creature in the Lab and pick one of three tools. Modify is for small edits: name one detail, like adding wings, a shell, horns, or glowing eyes, and the rest of the creature stays as close as it can while that detail changes. Evolve moves a creature along a three-stage line, so a small first-stage creature grows into a larger second stage and then a final form, carrying the same animal and color family forward while it gains size, detail, and a stronger pose. Retype swaps its element: a Water creature becomes a Fire one, and its markings, palette, and signature feature change to match while the animal and its build carry across. Each result is drawn from scratch, so details you did not ask to change can vary a little too. Older creatures may not support these tools; look for the Open in Lab action in your collection.
Each transform is drawn from scratch rather than edited on top of the original, so the result is a new take on your creature rather than a copy with one detail swapped. The animal, the color family, and the overall build carry across, and the finer details will vary between attempts. Compare the results with your starting creature before choosing one, and keep a request focused on one change when you can, since that makes the result easier to judge. Exact preservation is not something any transform can promise, which is also why running the same transform twice gives you two different versions to choose from.
Credits you buy in a pack never expire. They sit in your balance until you spend them, and the Terms of Service say the same. Credits included with a plan work differently: they refresh at the start of each billing period and do not roll over, so it is worth using them inside the month. When you generate in the Lab, plan credits are spent first, so the ones you bought separately stay where they are. Free daily generations are not credits and are not stored anywhere. They reset every 24 hours, and unused ones do not carry over to the next day. You can see your balances at the top of any page once you are signed in.
